The things readers ask us, answered without jargon.

Who is behind Assayva?

Assayva is one of the information sites run by The Nelson M Group LLC. Everything on it is clinical trial information, written for ordinary readers.

Can I ask you to erase what I sent?

Write to [email protected] or use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email.

Is Assayva a medical provider, study team or recruiter?

No. Assayva does not act for any sponsor, hospital or research site, and the guides should not be read as medical, legal or financial advice.

How do I opt out of texts?

Send STOP in reply to any message and texts end. Reply HELP for help, or write to [email protected].

What will I receive?

Plain-language notes on the topic you choose. Email is optional, and so are the short texts that link to the guides.

Do you arrange screening visits?

No. We do not schedule visits or refer anyone to a site. Screening is handled by each study team.

Do I have to agree to texts?

No. Texts are optional, with two separate unchecked boxes. You can sign up without ticking either one.

Does anyone see my topic choices?

Only us, and only to send what you asked for. Topic choices are never shared with sponsors, sites or other partners. For the details, read the Privacy Policy.

Do you check whether I am eligible?

No. We never review anyone’s health information. We explain the ideas, and the study team makes any decision.

Do I have to give a phone number, email or ZIP code?

No. The contact fields are optional. Name, topic and the privacy checkbox are what the form needs.

Can you review my test results?

No. We never see medical records and do not give medical advice. Your doctor can explain your results.

Can Assayva tell me what a test result means?

No. We never see anyone’s results and cannot interpret them. Your own doctor or the study team can explain a result.

Will you match me with a study or a research site?

No. We do not recommend, rank or match you with studies, sponsors or sites. Public registries list studies, and your doctor can help you read them.

How often will you text me?

Message frequency varies and runs up to about 8 a month. Message and data rates may apply.
