Assayva is named for the assay, the humble lab test that sits behind a surprising number of research decisions. Our editors wanted to explain the lab side of a study to people who only ever see the summary page.

The notes follow a simple pattern: what a term means, where you will meet it, and which questions are worth asking the study team.

We do not give medical advice, recruit or enroll anyone in a study, match you with studies or sites, or share your details with anyone who might want to sell you something.
